This monstrous saiyan beast would hop from planet to planet destroying and killing for no reason except to satisfy his rage.  Until one day he came across a being with enormous power and the same lust he had for killing and destroying, his name... Atrocitus.  Atrocitus was pleased on what this saiyan brute had accomplished and felt his rage pouring out of him.  This saiyan brute, only known by Broly, had no reasoning just destruction.  Atrocitus was easily able to subdue Broly and tried talking to him but with no success.  So Atrocitus crafted another ring and gave it to Broly to try and channel his rage, it worked.  Atrocitus then made Broly an offer to join him to destroy some of the strongest beings in the Universe.  Broly looked at him and smiled and asked, "Who?"  Atrocitus replied, "The Green Lanterns and The Sinestro Corps."  They both then took off in search for these beings.
